Telemarketer / Appointment setter

• Due to rapid growth this highly successful Eastern Seaboard Training company is looking for an experienced telemarketer/appointment setter to assist their Business Development team. With flexible hours and located closed to Central this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work part-time. This is a combined role encompassing telephone-based outbound contact calls, prospecting and the maintenance and integrity of our contact database.

  We are looking for a motivated, positive and enthusiastic person, committed to driving continued sales success who is results driven, has exceptional communications skills and  a can-do attitude.

  To be considered for this role you will also possess the following attributes:

  ▪ Minimum 3 years experience selling over the phone

  ▪ Experience selling to major corporate clients

  ▪ Ability to create a calling list

  ▪ Ability to create Emails and mail out documents

  ▪ Experience in the training industry would be highly regarded.

  Remuneration:  the salary package includes a base hourly rate supplemented by a generous bonus scheme . Anticipated hours are Tuesdays through Thursdays, 10am – 3pm although this may vary.

Your key focus will be to seek out additional sales and business opportunities through developing new and existing customers, some account management and value adding. The development of strong relationships is critical along with the understanding of the industry sales cycles.

We seek someone with a flair for identifying and developing solutions to address customers' needs, and a solid understanding of the corporate and vocational training industry, particularly in accredited training programs. You will have a strong solution-based approach to training delivery, account management and sales, and can demonstrate a history of managing major accounts and building relationships at different levels. Results focused, your approach incorporates identifying opportunities, developing solutions and managing projects successfully.
