Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Overview
The TAA40104 Training and Assessment course has replaced the former BSZ40198: Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training and is the Nationally Accredited Program of 14 units of competency is inclusive of all learning & assessment materials.
Who should attend
The TAA40104 Full Course is suitable for people who are new to training as well as those with extensive experience. It is the new qualification for anyone wishing to commence or progress a career in Training & Assessment Entry requirements do apply.
Course objectives
By the end of this practical program, you will be able to:
- Establish and identify appropriate learning environments
- Design practical and applicable learning programs
- Plan, facilitate and deliver effective learning sessions
- Develop and implement effective competency-based assessments
- Coordinate and manage quality training and/or assessment services
Course content
Learning Environment
- Work effectively in vocational education and training
- Foster and promote an inclusive learning culture
- Ensure a healthy and safe learning environment
Learning Design
- Use training Packages to meet client needs
- Design and develop learning programs
Delivery and Facilitation
- Plan and organise group-based delivery
- Facilitate work-based learning
- Facilitate individual learning
Assessment
- Plan and organise assessment
- Assess competence
- Develop assessment tools
- Participate in assessment validation
- + 2 elective units
Duration
3 days x 3 weeks x 10am-3pm per day.
$2500.00 + GST per person
Program is run over three weeks broken down into nine sessions.
