EA Self Leadership & Self Management Masterclass

Outline

This program helps Executive and Personal Assistants improve their effective thinking skills, natural leadership and management ability and develop self awareness of self and of our interactions with others.

It successfully encourages you to be ‘other focussed’ by deepening your understandings around your own behaviours, wants and needs.

From here it helps you to develop strong workplace ethics in relation to self-accountability and self-reliance, consequently reducing attitudes and actions around blaming, dumping and projecting onto colleagues and clients. In short, excellence becomes the minimum performance standard.

Finally, this course gives you the tools to enhance the quality of your own life, leading to you feeling more secure, confident and stable.

Underlying this process of attaining improved performance are several fundamental principles including:

Beliefs and Performance

It is important that Executive and Personal Assistants clearly understand that they act, work and perform in accordance with the truth, as they believe it to be. Past experiences and conditioned beliefs determine the choices and risks they take.

Operating Beliefs (Conditioning)

Before Executive and Personal Assistants consider altering or changing their behaviour, it is important that they know how their present beliefs, habits and attitudes were formed. They need a clear understanding of how past conditioning, their thought processes, and whom they have listened to in the past helped them to create their present reality.

Locus of Control

In order to make meaningful and lasting changes, Executive and Personal Assistants need to learn that they have the ability to make things happen. Understanding that "if it's to be, it's up to me" is essential in growth and personal development.

Self-Image and Comfort Zones

It is important for Executive and Personal Assistants to understand how their self-image controls their performance and what they expect of themselves. Knowing where and why they feel comfortable or uncomfortable gives them ideas of what they might need or want to change.

Motivation

In order to change without stress and inner resistance, Executive and Personal Assistants need to take personal accountability for all of their actions and decisions, understanding that the only true motivation is self-motivation.

Vision and Current Reality

A key to positive change is about creating a strong vision of what is wanted. By holding on to that vision and not being restricted by current reality means Executive and Personal Assistants can develop and sustain great energy in attaining goals.

New Beliefs and New Performance

The technique used is about growth and change on a constructive basis. These are the tools for meaningful and lasting change. Assimilation is the vehicle to making goal setting come alive and to continue the growth process.
