BSI Learning’s Accelerated Development program is designed as a focused development program for individuals that have been recognised as high potentials within the business.

 
As part of the program, individuals have the option to select to work with an external coach that matches against specific criteria based on your current needs.

Executive Business Coaching Program

The BSIL Business Coaching Process is focused on the individual and we tailor every solution to suit the individuals’ needs and culture of their organisation.
 
The relationship we develop with our clients is that of a strategic partner where both of us work together to achieve identified and agreed individual and strategic goals.
 
We bring an experienced and professional team with the right blend of skills together to meet the individual needs of each client. Our team comes from competitive hands on business environment. Their role is to ensure delivery of an agreed outcome on time and within budget and the transfer of appropriate skills and knowledge.

Business coaching - our four staged approach:

4.         Implementation of Coaching Plan

1. Establishing Objectives

This stage in the process involves a one-on-one session between the individual and coaching champion to identify the “Coaching Outcomes” in the following areas:
 
•           Skills & Performance Development
•           Business Issues Management
•           Career Planning
 
Skills & Performance development

Focuses on the identification of specific and immediate skills an individual needs to develop in their current job environment. Identification of individual’s key strengths and areas where they have a need to develop their performance and effectiveness. Via an online 180/360 degree assessment.
 
Business issues management

Focuses on an individual’s current role within the organisation.
 
Identification of Business challenges that need to be addressed in their current role over the next 3/6/12 months using the success matrix methodology.
 
Career Planning

Focuses on an individual’s potential and future within the organisation and identifies where they might progress in the next 1- 2 years and how best to prepare them for these roles.
 
2. Situational analysis

Initial interview and diagnostic tool feedback relative to agreed outcomes identified in the establishing objectives phase.
 
The diagnostic tool would be created by drawing on our extensive range of 1500 behaviours within our Leadership Management Effectiveness profile.
 
3. Development of coaching plan

•           Prioritisation of objectives
•           Agreement on base line measurements
•           Identification of short-term actions – first 60 days
•           Identification of medium-term actions – 60-120 days
•           Identification of long-term actions –120 days+
•           Involvement of Program Champion
•           Alignment to individual and organisational goals
 
4.         Implementation of Coaching Plan

•           Regular review of action plans through face to face/telephone email communication
•           Development of monthly/weekly action plans
•           Identification of other stakeholders who may need to be engaged
•           Identification of relevant articles, recommended reading and seminars

Role Clarification 

 The Executive is responsible for:
 
•        Decision making
•        Developing solutions
•        Implementing the actions to produce the desired change in performance and individual behaviour
 
The Coach is responsible for:
 
•        Observing behavioural/performance issues that impact the individuals intended outcomes
•        Providing additional perspective and insight into alternative approaches through honest and constructive feedback.
•        Managing the coaching program
 
Both parties are responsible for achieving the agreed Coaching outcomes.
 


Typical program 

Phase one         
 
Conducted over 2/3 weeks involving one on one meeting with Executive and Coaching Champion
 
Phase Two        
 
One on one meeting with Executive detailed analysis and interpretation of feedback from diagnostic
 
Phase Three      
 
Development of coaching program in conjunction with Executive
 
Phase four         
 
Implementation of coaching plan via bi weekly contact meetings either face to face or telephone supplemented by email exchange as required for a minimum period of 12 weeks.
