Relationship Building
Outline
The most important people are the ones you meet face to face. But are you really harnessing the power of the people you meet throughout the year?
Harnessing the power of your relationships will drive fast, sustainable career growth but the quality of your business network is not about how many people you know but about the quality of the relationships you develop. This course is designed to help you focus on developing deeper relationships with a few people rather than superficial relationships with a lot of people.
Rich relationships lead to an enriched life.
From focussing on career progression through internal networking, to building relationships that are beneficial to your business, be they with clients or suppliers, or even just focussing on Networking with peers from other companies, it is essential for our future and for our own business and personal identities that we know how to build strong business relationships.
Who Should Attend
Networking is not just for senior executives or for those in marketing or sales. We all need to build strong lasting relationships with colleague, clients and peers. This course is essential for ALL Executive and Personal Assistants who are interested in how to make themselves more valuable and memorable in both their internal and external networks.
Course Objectives
For those Executive and Personal Assistants who want to be able to harness the power of having other people tell others how good you are and why they should get in touch with you!
Perhaps you have shied away from networking and showing up at business functions because you're not comfortable with approaching strangers and "selling yourself". Learn how to overcome networking reluctance and make every contact you make count - whilst having fun!
Perhaps you are good at collecting business cards and meeting new contacts, but you've never been able to convert any of these contacts into a meaningful and mutually beneficial business relationship. Learn the art of following up so that you're memorable and discover the secret of how to cultivate contacts into advocates.
Course Content
Networking is not for wallflowers! Being a good conversationalist is essential. Knowing when to talk about yourself and when to show a genuine interest in another is key to success.
In order to be a successful networker you need confidence in your ability to communicate. Real opportunities lie in your ability to build very effective relationships with key contacts that can and will identify new opportunities for you.
What you say to others is a reflection of who they think you are. While you're speaking, they're thinking and deciding who you are, whether they like you and whether they want to develop a relationship with you.
