Running Effective Meetings

Outline

Who in business hasn't experienced the frustration of wasting valuable time in ineffective meetings? And who hasn't uttered the phrase "Why are we having another meeting?"   But whilst ineffective
meetings gobble up valuable time and decrease team productivity, effective meetings can greatly contribute to a team's success - and team success, in turn, will contribute to the overall success of an
organisation.

Meetings are a tool.   Used correctly, they can improve your productivity - just like other tools do.   And, as with other tools, there are certain procedures and techniques you can use to maximise effectiveness.

EAs and PAs not only participate in a lot of meetings but more and more they are organising meetings for the management team or even facilitating these for their own or other's projects.   So like other
managers in business, EAs need to learn how to make the meetings they are involved in valuable and productive so they no longer have meetings for meetings sake.

Who Should Attend

This course will be valuable for any EA who wants to make the meetings they are involved in more productive, the events they organise more productive or who would like to instil a new culture of
meetings within their organisations.   Let's do away with meetings for meetings sake - after all, time is our most precious commodity.
